Skiing at Sol Vista

This weekend for Dave's birthday we took the kids up skiing on Saturday at So Vista Basin for the first time. It was such a great day. We had so much fun teaching the kids. I think Dave underestimated how hard it would be to teach Boyd how to ski. So for the first few runs he taught Aubrey and I literally ran with no board down the hill with Boyd. I taught hom to stand up with his hands on his knees and once he got that he was good. He doesn't have any concept of stopping and doesn't want to either. He just goes straight down no fear I tell ya. He crashe really good twice and jumped back up and kept on going. Aubrey picked it up quick and I was so proud of her for listening and doing so well. She and I skied the rest of the day together so I could actually get an my board and go down with her. She's going to be an awesome skier, both of them are. I couldn't have asked for a better day with our little family together. The weather was perfect and not to cold. I look forward to these times when we can go do more fun stuff as a family and really enjoy each others company. The older the kids get the easier it gets to not have so much fussing over stuff.
