House Update UGGHHH!!!
OK so here's the scoop with the house (so frustrating by the way!!). The bank says they have our approval letter in hand and are now trying to resolve an issue with the second mortgage that the seller has out on the house. Originally they were just going to take a lose on it but then changed their minds so now they want some $$$. So the bank offered them a price but they want more and are saying they won't play ball so our realtor, the sellers realtor and us are trying to see if we can all make up the difference. My advice to anyone that is going to buy a short sale house, START NOW if you want to be in it by August. I swear it takes forever and is more than frustrating. Trust me if we'd seen anything comparable to this house that wasn't a short sale I'd say bag this and we'll go deal with an actual seller of a house that we could just buy. However we haven't seen anything even close so that's why we're holding out for this one. Hopefully we'll hear some good news this week so we can hopefully be in our own place by the end of the month I can dream can't I? but we'll see and I'll keep you all posted.

I am sorry. That sucks. I want to see some pictures of this house! So...turns out we're not going to be neighbors after all. We have decided to move to Washington after school. We will always be back to visit though, so I am hoping to still see you!

Thanks for the advice Sarah. I have almost no idea what we're even doing. I really hope you can be in there by the end of the month. I have no idea how you're surviving at family's house!
