Christmas

Christmas this year was a little crazy but it was worth it. We went to Utah for Dave's younger brothers wedding on the 19th and then went out to California to spend a few days with my family. As always it was great to be with them for some family time. We drove back to Colorado on Christmas eve so that the kids could have Christmas in our own house. This has never happened before so we decided it was time. While on our trip I called a friend of Dave's who was selling his dirt bike and surprised Dave with it for Christmas. It was a great surprise. He has been wanting a dirk bike for a while and I had been trying to figure out how to make it happen and I got it worked out perfectly. He was shocked to say the least. I love when things like that work out so well. The kids had a great Christmas and I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family.

We have a tradition of cutting down our tree. Its so fun to go look for a tree that is just right for our family. The kids loved doing it this year.
