TEETH!!

So I finally got some pics of Boyd brushing his teeth. He loves to do this, as often as he is in the bathroom you automatically hear him saying teeth, teeth. This morning he was feeling very cooperative so I thought I'd take advantage.

Buddies

I just thought this was sweet. Boyd was sitting in his chair and Ruger just came and sat next to him to make sure he was ok.

CARS

Just wanted to post a few pics of Boyd watching his favorite movie CARS. He and I came home from school/daycare and he runs in the house grabs Cars and hands it to me and runs and sits in the rocking chair patiently waiting for me to start the movie.
Trying to look at the camera but he just can't do it.

So cute he LOVES CARS!!

Kudos for my sweet husband

So I just wanted to tell everyone how wonderful my husband is.
First of all he had the kids all weekend for 4 days by himself so I could go to California by myself and didn't even gripe once. He also spends his days at school studying so that when he comes home before dinner he is at home for us and doesn't have to do any school work at home. He is a great dad and friend and husband and I love him so much for all he does. I LOVE YOU!!

I Did It!!!!

Ok so not to pat myself on my back or anything but I did the Surf City half marathon (so only 13.2 miles) this last Sunday in Huntington Beach, California. It was great and not to mention it was at my favorite beach. It rained the whole race but it was so fun. There was so much energy there so it keeps you going. I did it with my older brother Peter who is a great brother and friend for doing this with me. I asked him to do it with me because the kid can run forever and I knew he'd keep me going and if he can keep running then I should be able to, I'm 8 yrs younger than he is so there was also a bit of that sibling competition which was my plan, and it worked. We did it in 2hrs 29min 15sec. It was the most fullfilling thing I've ever done for myself. I am already looking for another one to run, I'm thinking the one in Denver in October but we'll see what happens.

Peter and I waiting for the race to start. We laughed cause we look like a grocery store butcher in our little jackets keeping us warm.

Trying to stay dry! It didn't work! Our wave getting up to the starting line.

Just for fun Apples and Wine

Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they sometimes take the apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. The apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who is brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree. Now men.... men are like a fine wine. They begin as grapes and it's up to women to stomp them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.
